Highly recommend Caribou Cabins. Clean, homey, perfect location. I treated my husband with a trip to the Yukon and Alaska for our 25th wedding anniversary. We did this with his best friend and wife. My son Michael and I departed NC on 20 Aug with a final destination of Kodiak, AK. The Alaska/Canadian highway trip is now on my list of vacations with my wife. Of all the places we stayed at on this trip the Caribou Cabins has far surpassed the others in terms of excellence. The host Kris and Carrie were very friendly and professional. The setting is quiet, peaceful and clean. The cabins offer all modern amenities. The cost of the cabin was perfect. Great place to stay for sure. Will recommend to anyone making this trip in the future.

We stayed on our way up to Fairbanks from Colorado and of course returned on way back because we absolutely loved the cabins! They are so put together, so homey, so well equipped, and of course my favorite, quiet & peaceful. The breakfast room has everything you can imagine to eat for breakfast and I enjoyed seeing the kids playground out back as well as the rabbit scurrying by. It was the first rabbit I saw on the trip. Loved the wildflowers in bloom. We will be back!

Very clean, quiet & just right for our 2 day stay in Tok. Everything you need for a day or a week. Sadly we didn’t get to use the Jacuzzi as we spent the 4th in Chicken, AK. Road mostly paved. Being in the Coast Guard we mover every few years and have seen our share or sleepless nights in old hotels and dirty hotels. This time we were overwhelmed at how big, clean and well kept this cabin was. We will be spreading the information on to other Coast Guard families to let them know the place to stay in Tok. The Caribou Cabins are exceptional. It is modern, clean and has all of the necessary amenities. It fit our family of six and the price is very reasonable. What a beautiful cabin and property! It is like a living Christmas card! Property managers are very friendly and helpful. The cabin is very beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need! The loft was great fun for our 6 year old. The Jacuzzi felt great to sore, tired muscles! Warm, quiet & beautiful. This is a beautiful setting. I love the cabin and was in #2. I didn’t get a chance to use the Jacuzzi tub though it looked very inviting. I definitely want ot bring my husband here for a getaway retreat. I came here for work but will definitely come back for play. Thank you for having your place here it is so peaceful for collecting your thoughts or distressing whatever the need. The owners are friendly quiet and leave you to yourself if that is your choice.

Great accommodations. Much more than what I was expecting. Friendly staff and awesome amenities only found at places twice the price. Easily accommodated 2 adults & 3 kids. I wish I found it earlier.

This was the best accommodations we had our entire trip. It was well worth staying the night in Tok. Fast Eddy’s is a fabulous restaurant, with great food and family atmosphere. Caribou Cabins are not only cute but exceptionally clean and very comfortable. There were 6 in our party and there was plenty of room for all of us! What a fabulous ending to an even more fabulous drive! Kris & Carrie Beeman are very nice and I would highly recommend staying @ caribou cabins if you are ever traveling through Tok! This has been one of the best places I have stayed in Alaska. My biggest regret is that my friend and I only had the opportunity to stay here for one night. The cabins are in excellent condition. They are warm and cozy and contain everything one might need for a relaxing stay. The owners were warm and friendly and made us feel right at home. Should I ever be fortunate enough to pass through this way again, I will certainly stay here! These cabins are well designed, fun, and absolutely adorable. Plus, I love the selection of VHS tapes (Yes, I still appreciate VHS) don't change a thing. I love Caribou Cabins!

& the gel smells wonderful. I loved the "wood burning" stove. Although I couldn't
get up the steps to see the upstairs I bet it's just as nice as down here. The decorating

My husband & I stayed for one night while he was working in Tok. Your cabins are very nice and I liked all the extras (gas fireplace, Jacuzzi tub, books & magazines, shampoo & hairdryer). Your rates are extremely reasonable. I've paid considerably more for hotel rooms without any of the charm of the cabins. Best of luck and I will recommend you to our friends in Fairbanks.

Absolutely loved the log cabin. Jim says, "Just like having a hunting camp," so he loves it too. Breakfast well done. Finally a hotel/motel/cabins smart enough to use soap/shampoo dispensers in the shower. Also, thank heavens for someone smart enough to put linoleum down. I appreciated the little girl showing me how to get my breakfast back to the cabin in the basket. Truly enjoyable. Will definitely recommend it to others.

Very friendly hosts. Cabin was absolutely wonderful. Propane stove/fireplace created a warm, cozy relaxing atmosphere after a long day. Whirlpool tub was an added bonus! Sat on the deck in the evening and enjoyed the silence, no highway sounds at all, but only 2 minutes to stores, restaurants & gas stations. An ideal setting for relaxation, meditation, writing... On a Scale of 1 to 10 this is definitely a TEN!

We did the tourist stint this weekend. We did a whole weekend of driving and last destination was Caribou Cabins. We were greeted by the smiling owner. Orders were to RELAX and if we needed breakfast foods, just to help ourselves!! The cabins are HEAVENLY! Very well kept , clean with milk in the fridge. This is EXACTLY what we needed. Basic hospitality seems to be a lost art but we found it here in Tok, Alaska.

We have been on the road from San Diego, CA for exactly 14 days and stayed at countless hotels our entire trip up to AK. Most were simply ok and a few were good overall, as far as accommodations go. When we did a search for a place to stay in Tok, the only available room was at Caribou Cabins. The website has a few good photos, but let me tell you right now that those picks give no justice to these spectacular little private cabins. None of the other hotels we stayed at could hold a candle to the Caribou Cabins. Although only my wife and I stayed for a night, we noticed that these can easily & comfortably accommodate 5 people. All of the conveniences of larger hotel chains are available like Wi Fi, satellite television, fridge & microwave, & very nice comfortable beds. There were a couple of perks as well that were very unexpected. A great gas operated wood burning stove/fireplace that warmed the cabin in just minutes, and a beautiful jetted whirlpool tub that was much appreciated after such a long time on the road. Last but by no means least, the customer service here was second to none. Friendly and courteous; helpful and informative. Hands down, the Caribou Cabins has been one of the best hotel experiences I've (we've) ever had.

The best nights sleep I can remember. I have seen a lot of cabins thru out Alaska, but the detail in these make them really stand out. Will definitely be back.

Caribou Cabins is the best place we stayed on our two week journey to Elmendorf AFB. Our kids loved it (10 yr old & 6 yr old). The cabin was spacious and clean. We will recommend this best kept secret to everyone traveling through Tok.
